DISPLAYS of trick riding from all over the world are the speciality of the Mystic Horsemen - and visitors to the Midlands Equine Fair, which takes place at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern on March 13 and 14, will have the ideal opportunity to see their fantastic display at first hand.
The Mystic Horsemen are a team of stunt riders consisting of six riders and six horses, who display their skills at horse shows and in films and on television.
Jousting is a fast moving show of accuracy from the horses and riders. Colourful costumes add to the drama of the display, and there is real rivalry between the performers.
The Cossack Show is played in full traditional Cossack costumes, and includes all the daring and spectacle expected of such a colourful riding tradition.
The Wild West Show incorporates all the excitement of the frontier, while the Spanish High School performance includes the stunning Garrocha and hilarious comedy sketches.
The Mystic Horsemen trick riding troupe was founded by Blue River Moore who has an impressive background in stunt riding, including Cossack riding, American style, chariot racing, medieval jousting and fire eating!
The Mystic Horsemen were founded in 1992 and have been thrilling British audiences since then.
The troupe is soon to embark on its first shows in Europe.The 2004 Fair looks set to be bigger and better than ever before, with a fantastic range of demonstrations, displays and, of course, opportunities to shop.
There will be various demonstrations and lectures, and the ever popular breed parade.
and display area will include the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
