THE rib-tickling tale of three feuding Jewish women will take centre stage at a Droitwich Spa playhouse next month.
Theatregoers are invited to laugh their socks off with The Cemetery Club at the Norbury Theatre from Tuesday, February 10 to Saturday 14.
The hilariously funny show tells of Ida, Lucille and Doris, three Jewish women who meet for tea and gossip in Ida's New York home.
After liquid refreshment the threesome then trundle off to the cemetery to visit the graves of their late husbands and remember the good old days. However, one day they meet Sam, a man who is visiting the grave of his late wife, and he changes their lives forever.
It is an amateur production being staged by the St John's Players of Worcester and directed by Ray Archer. The group will celebrate its 55th anniversary on Valentine's Day.
Director Ray said: "It has just been on a professional tour, playing at Malvern Theatres to full houses. I am sure people will love it!"
Tickets, priced £6 and £7, are available from the Friar Street box office on 01905 770154. Curtain up is at 7.45pm.
