DEAR EDITOR - A very big thank-you for the very generous donations to the George Mitchell Appeal, given by the parents who brought their children to see Father Christmas.Thanks also to the people who came to the door with donations. The amount raised was £616.98.
Apologies to all who came to see the inflatable Mickey Mouse only to find he had to be moved after three young children were caught throwing items at him. Santa stayed at the front, while Mickey was moved to safety.
