MIDLANDS 18-Group Clubs beat their counterparts, the Midlands 18-Group Schools side, 12-0 at Bromsgrove School on Sunday.
The game was played as preparation for the game between a Midlands Under-18 Invitation side and the England 18-Group Schools side at The Close at Rugby School on February 29.
The Midlands Clubs side scored two tries through centre Richard Johnson (Nuneaton and Warwickshire) in the first half and through skipper and number eight Tom Wood (Barkers' Butts and Warwickshire) after the break.
Paul Bailey-Green (Barkers' Butts and North Midlands), a 16-year-old making his first appearance for the side, converted one of the tries.
