EVESHAM United Ladies entertained Bredon in the Kidderminster Women's League and extended their winning sequence to four games with an 8-0 victory.

They took the lead on six minutes, Charlotte Benson-Wilson setting up Nicky Bond to score.

It took until the 28th minute for the Robins to increase their lead and it was Bond again finishing the move with a chip over goalkeeper Anika Collins after Tori Southern's initial shot was blocked.

Evesham began to make their dominance tell and two goals from Southern effectively killed the game off.

On the half hour she ran clear of the Bredon defence to slot home number three and four minutes later Charlene McLoughlin's clearance again sent Southern clear to smash home a shot for her 18th goal of the season.

Two minutes before half time Lola Hughes fired in a shot that Collins could only parry and Lisa Tustin was on hand to push home the loose ball.

The final action of a very impressive first half performance saw a sixth goal as McLoughlin stabbed the ball home. Eleven minutes into the second half Tustin was fouled in the area and Benson-Wilson stepped up to strike the spot kick high into the net. Hughes smashed a shot just wide on 67 minutes and 15 minutes later her pass across goal found Danielle Chinn who set up Tustin for her second.

n Pegasus Ladies entertained rivals Malvern Ladies in the Hereford and Worcester County Cup and triumphed 4-3.

The home side opened the scoring with an opportunistic goal by Becky Banes.

The same player doubled her tally following good play and a cross from Lucy Blandford.

The visitors were first to make an impression after the break when Kate Boulton reduced the deficit.

However, Lucy Belcher maintained the two goal advantage with an unstoppable shot from 20 yards.

The influential Julie Nicholls, returning after a long absence through injury, combined well with Banes who added another to secure her hat-trick.

Malvern continued to search for goal scoring opportunities and ensured a tense finish after scoring two goals in quick succession by Emily Prosser and Nat Holmes.

However, the Hereford side showed some steel to ensure a semi-final tie with their Ross counterparts.
