A REDDITCH golfer has scooped the Chandler Shield at a special awards ceremony at Kings Norton Golf Club.
Chris Bromley was one of only three golfers to be presented with an award at the annual dinner of the Worcester Union of Golf Clubs.
The Chandler Shield is awarded to the second team county player who scores most points throughout the season.
Among the honoured guests on the night was John Whitmore, former captain of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.
