REDDITCH United face a make-or-break month ahead of them as they lock horns with their closest league rivals.

Reds manager Rod Brown says February is a 'huge' month for his side as they bid to become Dr Martens Western champions - despite still being a massive ten points clear.

The Reds face the strongest sides in the league, including visiting second-placed Rugby United and then have a tasty home tie against fourth-placed Cirencester who now have six games in hand after their postponement.

Throw in an away fixture at Solihull Borough - a side that has conceded just one more goal than United this season - and Sutton Coldfield into the mix then you have a February full with potential fireworks.

Brown said: "February is going to be a very tough month which starts next week away at Solihull Borough - I know how they play - we might even change our formation to accommodate for their style."

But it seems the Reds have turned the corner after their mid-January blip in form which the boss thinks could be down to confidence.

"The dressing room has become a bit nervous all of a sudden - but we've got to stick at it," insisted Brown after seeing his side held to a goalless draw with Taunton on Saturday.

The draw with Bedworth, conceding five against Worcester City in the Worcestershire Senior Cup and the first league defeat in 14 games at the hands of an improving Evesham side have seemingly took their toll on United.

The nerves even jangled on to the pitch in the first half on Saturday but with the return in fitness of all the Redditch centre-backs and 'keeper Richard Anstiss, the draw was percieved by many as a good result.
