HEREFORD'S David Park finished joint twentieth in the Dunhill Golf Championship in at the Houghton Club in South Africa.
The Burghill Valley member finished with a fourth round level par 72 after he clawed his back into contention on Saturday with a brilliant 65.
Park failed to recapture that form yesterday and two birdies and two bogeys left him with a cheque for £5,300 for his four days work.
The tournament was won by Marcel Siem who came out on top after three play-off holes.
Siem set a new tournament record of 22 under par but watched as his lead disappear as first Raphael Jacquelin and then another Frenchman, Gregory Havret, birdied the par-five 18th to send the tournament into a three-way play-off.
On the third play-off hole Siem found his form after Jacquelin's shot overran into a bunker, leaving the Frenchman an almost impossible scramble for par.
Siem calmly chipped out of the bunker and then hit a six-foot putt to win his first title on the European Tour.
