WORCESTER Wolves Basketball Club are expecting a sell-out crowd for their Patrons Cup final against Hackney White Heat.

The date of the final has been confirmed as Saturday, March 6 at University College Worcester, when Wolves will be the hot favourites to claim their first National League trophy in their short history.

The match starts at 7.30pm and will be preceded at 5pm by the National Trophy final for Division One clubs.

The National Trophy final will see Sutton or Plymouth take on Worthing or Sheffield.

Worcester are still waiting to discover how many tickets they can sell, as some will be allocated to their opponents and to English Basketball Association officials.

The club's Director of Operations Mick Donovan said: "Tickets will go on sale at this Saturday's home game against Coventry.

"We hope to sell them all before the final, and people are urged to get them early."

National Division Two leaders Wolves were not in league action at the weekend.

Instead they travelled to take on RAF Alconbury in Oxfordshire for a friendly, winning 86-72.
