WITH regards to the speed cameras in and around Worcester, I believe people are forgetting the reason they are there in the first place. E A Franklin writes: "Is it legal for fixed signs to be up when it is a mobile van clocking the 'speeding' traffic?"
Surely, the real issue is that there are speed limits in place and we, the motorists, are breaking the law if we exceed those limits.
So really it shouldn't matter if it is mobile or fixed signs and cameras because if we follow the speed limits we are not going to be slapped with a fine and penalty points are we?
