JUST a thought on speed cameras and their justice.
A friend of mine works as a rep for a machine tool manufacture. Eighteen months ago, he was caught on a camera on his way to meet a client.
Several days later, he was caught by another hidden camera van from this point.
He was worried that he may be caught again, so he drove carefully. Eight months ago, he was out when he received a call from a customer who asked him if he could rush over to attend a meeting for the purchase of some machine tools.
As a result, he had to rush from one side of the country to the other to attend the meeting.
On the way, however, he was caught at 75mph on a clear day on a clear dual carriageway by a camera van.
He made it to the meeting and secured a deal that will give 32 people job security for the next two years.
However, he lost his licence and job. Is this really justice?
