WORCESTER Wolves Basketball Club have been boosted by the news that Keith Jarrett will be available for the rest of the season.

The 6ft 6in forward had been due to return to college in the United States in the coming weeks but has now put off his flight until the summer.

Wolves believe his availability will be a major boost towards their hopes of capturing the National League Division Two crown and the Patrons Cup.

Director of Operations Mick Donovan said: "We wanted to keep him for the rest of the season and it is like a brand new signing for us.

"He took something like 12 or 13 rebounds in our win at Westminster last week and with him, Ty Shaw and Colin Chiverton in the side, we have a trio who can rebound as well as anybody in the league."

Wolves, who are without a game this weekend, defend their unbeaten league record against Coventry Crusaders at University College Worcester next Saturday.

They are still waiting to confirm the date of their Patrons Cup final against Hackney White Heat at UCW.
