STAFF at the Dogs Trust, Evesham, have appealed for help after one of their puppies was stolen from their home.
The seven-week-old black-and-white puppy named Summer is thought to be a collie cross.
Jacqui Darlow, spokeswoman at the Dogs Trust, said she believed an adult and three teenagers who were in a silver Vectra might have taken the puppy.
"They came in looking for a puppy to re-home on Wednesday," she explained.
"When they were told they would have to go through home checks before they could have a dog, they walked out through a side gate. I believe they still had the puppy in their hands."
She asked anyone who saw a new puppy at the home of a neighbour, or anyone who might know the people with the silver Vectra, to get in touch with the Trust.
