HEREFORD United's enforced break has come at the worst time, admits manager Graham Turner.

The Edgar Street club's Conference trip to Morecambe today will be their last action for two weeks leaving loan signings Anwar Uddin and Chris Palmer kicking their heels for a sizeable chunk of their spells at the club.

United's scheduled clash with Telford has been postponed due to the Shropshire club's involvement in the FA Cup, while the following week is the FA Trophy and the Bulls have not be able to rearrange a game.

"It's not an ideal scenario when you play so few games in a month and means the two loan signings have only got four matches," said Turner. "However we needed them both for today and let's hope they can produce something for us while they are here."

Meanwhile Turner revealed Andy Tretton is still making good progress, despite being withdrawn from a reserve game against Nuneaton at Edgar Street on Tuesday night.

"He was feeling his injury a little so just as a precaution we decided not to risk him but he's making good progress," added Turner.
