I am concerned about the plans to make a cycle track across Link Common and wish to share my views.
As a cyclist myself, I much prefer to have a fun and enjoyable ride across the common itself, rather than on a cycle track.
If you want a smooth ride, take the road but please don't build a tarmac cycle track.
If you want Link Common to be a nice green common, the last thing you want to do is build tarmac cycle track that looks wrong in its surroundings.
