I TOO fell foul of the very confusing and misleading notices posted on the ticket machine in Edith Walk.

I didn't get a ticket, as from my car I read the notice in big letters 'Free Christmas Parking" and "Merry Christmas from MHDC".

I have appealed against the fine only to have it rejected, so I will appeal again. How many other residents who pay exorbitant Council Tax have been fined?

The sign was very misleading and I would say to MHDC what Christmas scrooges you are in not refunding fines. These signs need to be changed for next year.
