WEST Malvern's disastrous home record continued when they were beaten 7-1 at home by a very good All Blacks side.

WEST MALVERN 1, ALL BLACKS 7

The West knew it was not going to be their day when, after two late changes, they conceded a penalty in the first five minutes. To make matters worse inside ten minutes they were two down and things got to worse when centre back Andy Pugh put past his own keeper. By half time they were five down.

West reshuffled the pack a little bit and started brightly. David Knapper scored from close range but once again the All Blacks came back to add to their score and after 70 minutes their centre forward, Cornelius Roberts, capped a fine match by claiming his fourth goal.

Tomorrow (Saturday) West entertain Bransford Rovers in the Phipps Cup, kick off 1.45pm. Players report to the dressing from at 1pm or contact the manger by noon to ensure the game is on.
