WELLAND made it 10 wins in a row with this emphatic victory which saw them dominate in all departments of the game.
WELLAND ATHLETIC 4, Bransford ROVERS 0
A strong back four of Radnor, Jelleyman, Coles and Fitch ensured that Scrivener in goal was not troubled and maintained a second consecutive clean sheet.
With the experienced Brendan Watson returning to the side in midfield after six weeks, Welland opened up Bransford through Paul Edwards and Tom Holland on the flanks and Tom Crump up front.
Derrington put Welland one up after 20 minutes followed by an individual goal from Watson, who controlled the ball just inside Bransford's half, and drove forward, avoiding two tackles and fired in off the post.
It was Watson again early in the second half who scored Welland's third with a curled shot over the stranded keeper from 20 yards.
After 75 minutes Barnaby Coles' powerful header from the half way line was flicked on by Edwards to Derrington who made no mistake to notch his 11th goal from ten starts this season.
Welland, sponsored by Bio-Diagnostics, play tomorrow (Saturday) against Inkberrow in the Phipps Cup at the Hill (1.45).
