TOP poet Carol Ann Duffy will be giving a reading at The Chase school on Thursday (January 22).
A patron of the Ledbury Poetry Festival, Ms Duffy has published six collections of poems for adults and four for children.
She holds the OBE and CBE for services to poetry, as well as three honorary doctorates.
The reading will be in the Chase's sixth form annexe in Geraldine Close at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 for adults (£3 for children) from the school reception, on the door or 01684 891961.
Ms Duffy will also be selling and signing copies of her work.
The visit will be Ms Duffy's second to the school in recent weeks; just before Christmas, she was the special guest at the school's prizegiving ceremony.
