Malvern Hills District Council is holding two surgeries for members of the public who want to discuss the development of North Site.

A development brief released today (Friday) shows plans for the former army base including a housing estate and business park.

The first surgery takes place on Tuesday (January 20) at Dyson Perrins High School, from 2pm to 7pm.

The second is on Monday, January 26, at Priory Lodge Hall, Avenue Road, from 10am to 7.30pm.

Planning officers will be on hand to answer questions and between 5pm and 7pm, representatives from the council's housing, economic development and community safety teams will also be available.

Planning officer Duncan Rudge said: "They are informal exhibitions and surgeries for local residents and businesses to address their concerns about development happening near to them."

He said that people interested in moving to a house on North Site or relocating their business there would be equally welcome.

The development brief for the site was released for public consultation today (Friday) until February 27 and will be on view in various locations in the area, including the council's customer service centre in Malvern Library.
