ONLY a few more weeks now until Castle Tump Spring Show at Pauntley Memorial Hall, Brand Green.
The show is on Saturday, February 29, and will open at 2.30pm with prize-giving at 4pm. Entries must be made on or before Tuesday, February 24, and accompanied by the appropriate fee, which is 20p for entry to each class. Children's classes are free. Entry is 50p for adults; children again are free.
There are various sections to appeal to everyone. Section E is for children; pre-school entry is a picture of a butterfly. For primary school children it is four jam tarts. Section C is the one for cooks, with various cakes and preserves. In Section D there are three separate opportunities for photographers.
