THE next open meeting of the Colwall Village Society will take place on Monday, January 19, at the village hall at 7.30pm. The guest speaker will be Tim Hoverd, the Archaeological Projects Officer for Herefordshire Archaeology. During the last three years Mr Hoverd has been a major contributor to a ground-based survey of woodland in the Malvern Hills AONB. He will be speaking about some of the remarkable results produced. Refreshments will be served at the end of the meeting and everyone is welcome to come along.
The next Colwall Neighbourhood Watch Police Liaison meeting will be held in the Jean Simon room at the village hall at 7.30pm on January 22.
St James's Church Seekers would like to invite families with children under 16 to a young family lunch at the Ale House at around 11.45am on January 25. All you have to bring are your own crockery and cutlery. Please ring Rosie Juke on 540895 for further information.
