ANDY Keast has admitted to "sleepless nights" over his Worcester selection for Saturday.

Worcester will not be naming a team until match-day for the National One showdown at their closest rivals Orrell with coach Keast still mulling over a number of options.

With everyone fit for the 2pm kick off, apart from full- back Duncan Roke, it leaves the management with some tricky decisions ahead especially following the sparkling return to form of winger Chris Garrard.

"We haven't decided on the team yet, there are still a number of issues," said Keast. "It's lovely to have sleepless nights over selection. After the amount of injuries we've had for big games in the past, I'm certainly not going to complain about it. However, there are some tough decisions.

"There are two more nights for me to have broken sleep before we really know!"

Keast has to decide whether to go with James Brown at fly-half or pick Tommy Hayes at number 10. If Hayes is moved out to outside-centre, Ben Hinshelwood looks likely to occupy the full back spot, while Garrard's re-emergence means that he will fight out a place on the left-wing with Orrell old boy Wes Davies.

In the pack, Neil Lyman is vying for the tighthead spot with Lee Fortey, while South African Gavin Pfister is being pushed for the openside berth by new signing Russell Earnshaw.

"Really the issues around that concern Lee's mobility against an Orrell side who like to run the ball or Neil Lyman's power in the scrum and set phases," said director of rugby John Brain.

Brain is adamant that all the pressure is on Orrell's shoulders going into the Edge Hall Road encounter with his Warriors team holding a three-point lead over their promotion rivals.

"It's a massive game for them. There is a lot of pressure on Orrell because they are at home and, in the past few years the games between the top two teams have gone with home advantage so they will be expecting to win.

"There's also pressure because they are chasing us and if we were to win, that would make life extremely difficult for them.

"They would be six or seven points behind and would still have to go to Bristol, Birmingham and Plymouth. That's not an attractive proposition.

"Obviously we want to go and win the game at Orrell and we know, having beaten them already this season, that we can go there and do that."
