GOALKEEPER Paul Jones has added another string to his bow since leaving Harriers in 1991.
The Welsh international has signed for giants Liverpool, the club he supported as a boy, on a month's loan.
Jones, 36, has had to make do with life on the bench at Premiership Southampton in recent weeks.
But his dream move has come about due to injuries to Liverpool regulars Chris Kirkland and Jerzy Dudek.
The Chirk-born keeper made his debut at home to Aston Villa on Saturday and promptly kept a clean sheet, making one excellent save in a 1-0 win.
Jones said after signing: "It's been a hectic 24 hours for me. I got a phone call from Gordon Strachan telling me Liverpool were interested and he told me to think it over. It didn't take me long to decide."
He played more than 240 games for Harriers between 1986 and 1991 before moving onto Wolves, Stockport and Southampton.
