Huntingdon Hall in Worcester will be the venue for concerts to suit all tastes over the coming week.

Launching the diverse programme of music tomorrow night, Friday, January 16, will be the Ric Sanders Trio. Described as an improvisational jazz group with folk crossover, the band's set includes numbers by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin and Count Basie.

On Sunday, The Bochmann String Quartet will be performing at the Worcester venue with a repertoire including Schubert, Mozart and Malcolm Arnold.

On Tuesday, January 20, the legendary jazz/rock supergroup Colosseum will be in the house. The band was originally formed in 1968 and immediately signed to the Fontana label who released the group's signature debut Those Who Are About to Die Salute You, which was the first of four album chart successes for the band.

Next Thursday, January 22, tribute band Magic - a Kind of Queen will be calling through Worcester as part of their 10th anniversary tour.

On the following night, Friday, Boo Hewerdine, who has written songs for K D Lang, Paul Young and Eddi Reader, will be taking centre stage. Call the box office on 01905 611427.
