PERSHORE Abbey will be benefit from a concert performed by local musicians.
The Cecilian Players, a group bought together by the Abbey's director of music Sheila Joynes, will be holding their twelfth annual Saturday afternoon concert at The Abbey on Saturday, January 24.
The performance will be conducted by Martin Wall, former head of music at Pershore High School and will feature soloists Jenny Argent on flute and Andrew Bound on cello.
Included on the programme are the Suite Antique by Rutter and Symphony no. 4 by Mendelssohn.
The concert starts at 2.30pm and tickets, at £7.50 for adults and £5 for children, are available from Blue or A La Carte on Broad Street.
