FORMER members of Ashton-under-Hill Brownies are being invited back to help celebrate the pack's 30th birthday.
The 1st Ashton-under-Hill Brownie Pack held its first meeting on Tuesday, February 5, 1974, with a membership of 13 Brownie-guides.
"Thirty years on the pack is still going strong, now with a total roll of 25 girls." said one of the current leaders, Katie Brewster.
This year also sees the 90th anniversary of the GirlguidingUK's Brownie section, and to mark the two special anniversaries anyone with connection to Ashton Brownies is invited to a celebration in Ashton-under-Hill Village Hall from 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 11.
