VOLUNTEERS are needed to help organise a party in the park in Pershore.
The planned concert, provisionally called Pershore Celebrates, would be held in Abbey Park after Pershore Carnival and would see talent rubbing shoulders with big-name professionals.
Mayoress Val Wood said some volunteers were needed to form a committee to help the plans come to life. "It would be something else for Pershore people to enjoy and celebrate what we have - a great community and a beautiful park."
