In mid December 802 people were claiming unemployment benefit, which represents 1.2 per cent of the working population.
Only Malvern Hills was below that figure with one per cent seeking jobs.
Redditch had the highest figure in Worcestershire at two per cent, soaring to 5.1 per cent seeking jobs in Birmingham.
