WYRE Forest Brintons suffered their first loss since November when promotion-chasing Bilston beat them 4-1 in West Midlands League Division One South.
The visitors took the lead in a fairly even first half when Neil Knight scored at the second attempt after keeper Mark Fisher had saved his initial shot.
Darren Raybould should have equalised for Forest Brintons before the interval but his effort went wide.
The home side raised their game in the second half and expected a penalty when Jason Cook clearly handled in the area but the assistant referee ruled it was just outside the box.
The midfield of Tim Brown, Stuart Brogan, Lee Jordan and Andy Oakes all created chances but the forwards failed to take advantage.
And Bilston scored two goals in quick succession through Knight and Nathan Laing after errors by Fisher.
Cameron Morgan scored the fourth goal for Bilston who have lost just once in the league so far this season.
Forest Brintons scored a consolation from the penalty spot when keeper Turbutt pushed over Andy Bayliss and Neil Perks found the net.
The players are asked to meet at the Hare and Hounds at 12.45pm for Saturday's game in Malvern.
