A PREGNANT woman is recovering from the shock of having a necklace snatched from around her neck by a youth.
The 28-year-old woman, who was six months pregnant, was walking along Spencer Street in Kidderminster with her three-year-old son when the theft took place shortly after 2pm on Wednesday, January 7.
She noticed a youth walking towards her as she stepped into the road to pass some dustbins. He grabbed the gold necklace and ran off.
PC Tim Bower, of Kidderminster Police, urged anyone who witnessed the incident to contact him on 08457 444888. "This is an upsetting ordeal for a pregnant woman and her young son to experience," he said.
