A BROWN trout weighing 7lb 8oz was caught on the Masters Lake at Shatterford Fishery with a cat's whisker.
The same angler caught a 4lb rainbow trout, while another used a bronze fritz for four trout weighing a total of 16lb 8oz.
On the Stella Lake, a black fritz accounted for a catch of six trout to 2lb 8oz and a Rubery man caught five trout to 2lb 4oz with a montana.
A black nobbler was the choice of an angler on the Wyre Dell and he caught eight trout to 2lb 8oz.
On the coarse scene, mixed bags of roach, bream and carp to 40lb were reported on the Stuarts Lake.
