GOLF: The inaugural Solheim Cup at Cleobury Mortimer ladies section resulted in a 6.5-6.5 draw between the "Europeans" and "Americans".
The Europeans were led by current lady captain Sue Jarman and the Americans by out-going skipper, Jan Peutherer.
A Turkey Trot Texas Scramble was won by Ros Harrop, Anne Seward and Rosemary Dempsey.
November medal silver: Julie Currie 96 gross 24 handicap 72 nett; bronze: Wendy Duncan 98-26-72; Stableford silver: Jarman 14 handicap 34 points; bronze: Pauline Wilmott 22-29, Tracy Round 31-20.
Bunny Stableford: Terri Furnish 44-21.
