A REDDITCH charity is on the look out for residents who are willing to help make a difference to people's lives.
Carers Careline is asking people to give up just two or three hours a week to ease the lives of carers and the people they care for.
The charity has a number of ways to help. It offers a shopping service for people who are unable to get out on their own and do not have much family support in the area.
It can give a break to people who spend their time caring for a friend or relative who needs round-the-clock attention.
It also offers a befriending service to carers and the people they care for.
Development manager Jinny Pearce said: "All the people we recruit do absolutely vital work in the Redditch community.
"A lot of people need support from us and often we are unable to cope with the sheer volume who approach us.
"Everyone who comes forward to help will soon realise how rewarding and satisfying doing something like this can be."
