CHRISTMAS Cracker's Miscellany was the theme of the December 4 meeting. Poems, stories and demonstrations and delicious cakes and sweets were presented to members.
Thanks were given for help in providing lunches at the recent Church Bazaar.
The 2003 programme ended on December 17 with a Christmas party with entertainment from talented organist Adam Evans.
A buffet supper followed and the meeting concluded with the singing of carols accompanied by Adam.
Jean Thompson won the home-made calendar competition.
A group of members sang carols around the Headless Cross area with proceeds donated to the National Children's Home.
The first meeting in 2004 is tomorrow and new members are welcome. Meetings take place in the small hall of Headless Cross Methodist Church and for details, call 402657.
