BUBBLY youngsters at a local nursery proved their first day at school need not be a scary experience.
Four new three-year-old children were welcomed into the nursery at Wychbold First School and they embraced the experience with delight.
Incy, wincy spider was the theme for the day. The children enjoyed making a model spider and playing games, before they were collected by their parents.
Headteacher Eleanor Sinton wants to encourage more youngsters to join the school's nursery. Pupils can now join the term after their third birthday.
"The children have settled in very well and one of the boys didn't want to leave. There were no tears or any problems and I think the parents wouldn't have minded leaving them here longer," she said. Very few spaces are still available but to book a place call Eleanor on 01527 861421.
