RUBERY residents are being urged to sign up to learn a new language.
The village library is hosting a display to encourage more people to take up sign language.
Their Music in Motion exhibition explains how hearing people can help the profoundly deaf enjoy the beauty of music through signing and also appeals for volunteers.
Library manager Beverly Orlowsky said: "The display has been up since the beginning of January and so far we have had a good response. Hopefully, it will become a bit of a talking point and people will be interested in becoming volunteers." The display runs until the end of the month.
