RUNAWAY Midland Combination division one leaders Barnt Green Spartak go head to head with second place Pilkington XXX in a top of the table clash this Saturday.
The top two sides, split by ten points, meet at Pilkington with GJ Singh's league leaders looking to avenge the 5-2 defeat they suffered earlier in the season.
But the Spartak boss, who signed Lloyd Dawkins from Fairfield Villa last week, knows his side is there to be shot at.
He said: "It's going to be a tough game but it's more important to Pilkington than it is to us. If we win the game it extends our lead but they can't afford to draw, they have to beat us. We have the points on the board, they are the chasing team."
Spartak's home game with Blackheath was called off last Saturday because their Alvechurch ground was waterlogged.
l Elsewhere, Simon Brown and Mark Uddin, transfer targets of local rivals Fairfield Villa, are staying with Spartak.
