OLDBURY Park School took the honours in the annual RGS Worcester six-a-side competition for primary schools.
Fourteen schools took part in the 19th annual round-robin competition, which ended with Oldbury Park playing Northwick Manor in the final.
Favourites Oldbury Park went behind early on when Northwick's George Coley scored.
But they had already come back from the same position twice before in the competition, and two goals from James Todd and one from Dan Broome sealed a 3-1 victory.
It was the first time they had won the shield in nine years and the third time in total.
Cherry Orchard, winners for the last two years, won their first two games 4-1 and 5-1.
But their hopes of a third successive triumph ended with defeats against Dines Green and Whitbourne, who both moved forward into the second round.
Northwick Manor topped the second qualifying group, winning all their games. St Barnabas also went through, pipping St George's RC on goal difference.
Oldbury won all their group games conceding only one goal in the process. Pitmaston also made it through to the semi-final stage by winning one game and drawing one.
Pitmaston's hopes ended with an 8-2 defeat to Northwick, while Whitbourne, one of the smallest schools competing, did very well to win the third place play-off, beating Dines Green 1-0 in a close game.
