EVESHAM United came from two goals down to win 3-2 at Ilkeston Town in the Dr Martens Western Division last night.
The Robins hopes of extending their unbeaten league run to five games looked dead and buried after 17 minutes.
But two goals by Lee Ross, to take his tally to five in five games since moving from Redditch United and another from Craig Pountney saw Dave Busst's side come storming back to victory at the New Manor Ground.
Paul Eshelby headed Phil Stant's side ahead after just six minutes and the lead was doubled when United's defence only half cleared Aaron O'Connor's corner and Tony Brown was on hand to lob home.
Tim Clarke prevented Eshelby from scoring a third when he made a smart save diving low to his left but in the 32nd minute, United pulled a goal back. Craig Nicholls fed Ross in the six yard box and he prodded in a first time shot past Ross Turner.
The next goal would go a long way in deciding the outcome of the game and United scored it a minute before the interval when the quick thinking Ross seized on a loose ball inside the penalty area and stroked in the equaliser.
Immediately after the re-start, Turner brilliantly finger tipped Pountney's drive onto the crossbar but the same player had better luck on 51 minutes when he put United ahead.
Turner blocked his first shot but Pountney followed in to net the rebound and winner.
