Kempsey Warriors A 1,

Evesham Utd U-10 3

EVESHAM came out on top in Satu-rday's friendly, but competitive match.

Sam Ford whipped in a cross from the right that was deflected into the net. Henry Woods soon extended the lead following fine work by Ford and Louis Brown.

A defensive lapse allowed Kempsey to pull one back before United extended the lead with an own goal.

Defender Owen Jones never put a foot wrong in dealing with Kempsey's attacks and, with both with goalkeepers in inspired form, another goal was always unlikely.

Kempsey Warriors B 0,

Evesham Utd U-10 6

KEMPSEY'S second string started brightly and threatened early on but it was Evesham who took the lead after fine work from Henry Woods saw Andrew Powell fire home.

The second goal was a delight as George Darling dribbled past three players before firing home for his first goal for the team.

Woods hit the third after a cross from James Bearcroft and Craig Whiting then latched on to another Bearcroft cross to make it 4-0.

Woods then grabbed his second before Powell completed his brace with a shot into the far corner.
