Salford Rvrs 1,
Evesham Utd U-15 2
UNITED came away with all the points in a top of the table clash after a physical battle.
The visitors showed how good they were defensively in an evenly matched first half of few chances.
John Howman, Nick Bennet and Scott Bradley and some great saves from Jason Smith ensured a goalless opening period.
The second half saw the deadlock broken through Zac Warren who made good use of Jon Thompson's long throw.
A swift equaliser from Shaun Reid, who beat three defenders and the goalkeeper, stunned United but right back Josh Mountney made good use of the wind to lob the goalkeeper and snatch victory.
