DROITWICH Spa Hockey Club Men's First XI go in search of three league points as they attempt to get the second half of their league campaign off to a winning start.
Barry Williams' side host Barlaston this Saturday, a team they beat 3-2 in the reverse fixture to end the first of the season in December.
The captain said he wanted three points this weekend before his team goes into tough fixtures at Evesham and at home to West Midlands One league leaders Stone.
Last Saturday the side warmed up with a 6-1 friendly victory over local rivals and second placed Bromsgrove. Williams scored twice, as did Richard Woodward while Andy Harris and Paul Atkinson got one each. James Brooke scored Bromsgrove's consolation.
The skipper added: "We had a good game on Saturday, which was our first for three weeks. We are playing to our full ability and have got a bit more confidence and hopefully our results will continue to improve."
