POLICE are appealing for information after seven coats were stolen from Debenhams between 11.50am on Wednesday, December 17, and 12.50pm on Thursday, December 18.

It is believed the thief walked into the store with a large cardboard box, filled it with the coats, which were valued at £280, and then walked out.

He was a white man, about 5ft 8ins tall and was wearing a woolly hat, green jacket and white trousers.

PC Matt Brown is appealing for information after a man filled up his car with petrol and then drove off without paying.

It happened at Washford 24 on Washford Drive at about 6.45pm on Wednesday, November 5.

A man pulled up in a red coloured Volkswagen Golf and put £40 worth of petrol in his car before driving off without paying.

He is described as a white man wearing dark clothing.

There was also a passenger in the car.

CID officers are appealing for help after a taxi driver was robbed opposite Paddock Lane in Oakenshaw at about 4.20am on Saturday, November 8.

Officers are keen to eliminate the man pictured from their enquiries.

The driver had picked up a man as he was walking along the A38 towards Bromsgrove, just past the Forest pub, at about 3.55am.

The man flagged down the taxi, asked to be taken to Redditch and made a phone call while he was in the car.

When they stopped, the driver's door was opened and a second man took the keys out of the ignition with one hand and held the driver back with the other.

He demanded the driver hand over his wallet, which he did, and the passenger took his mobile phone.

The two walked off towards Coldfield Drive and threw the taxi keys back towards the car.

They escaped with £200 and a Nokia mobile phone.

The passenger was white, aged in his mid to late 20s, about 5ft 10 ins tall and of stocky build with brown hair.

He was clean shaven and smartly dressed, wearing a dark coloured heavy knee length overcoat, dark coloured trousers and shoes.
