A YOUNG business trio in Droitwich is taking the commercial entertainment world by storm.

The local team - all ex-Droitwich High School pupils and in their mid-20s - have built up a glowing reputation for their business Event Management & Logistics (EML).

The company, which is based on the Berry Hill industrial estate in the town, offers a range of fun entertainment for firms.

This includes casino nights, quizzes, game shows, murder mysteries, and video horse racing.

Companies can also hire EML to organise team building exercises, parties, and even treasure hunts.

"We started just four years ago, but already we are arranging more than 200 events a year," said Jon Huggett, who runs the business with Neil Cleaver and Paul Atkinson.

"We all worked for the same commercial entertainment business in Worcester. I left first to start up EML and then the others followed suit.

"We thought as a smaller firm we could do the job better and I think that is one of the reasons for our success.

"Because there are only a few of us, we put more into what we do and give more time to customers.

"Word of mouth and international publicity means EML is going from strength to strength - we had an article in Brides Magazine last month about the hen nights we arrange.

"We have a team of 20-25 people who carry out these events for us and have some of the world's biggest business names as our clients - including Orange, BT, Bupa, and Tesco.

"We have been to many parts of Europe - even organising a treasure hunt in Milan."

But if EML is managing to attract international interest, it is struggling to drum up business closer to home.

The firm has had just one booking in Worcestershire.

"It is disappointing that local firms are not taking advantage of our services," added Jon.

"We travel for miles to organise fun events for people and yet firms on our own doorstep don't seem to know about us."
