ANDY Keast paid tribute to his Worcester Rugby Club side's discipline after Otley's provocation in the Warriors 38-3 at Sixways.

The Yorkshire side tried everything in the book to get a reaction from Worcester but Keast's men stood their ground and played Otley off the park.

"The discipline was exceptional," said the Worcester coach.

"I was very pleased with that because the penalty count was low and there were no cards. We were concerned that there may be some carry over from the first game at Otley. There certainly wasn't any from us but there was some from them.

"Matt Oliver was very lucky not to get sent off. The high tackle, after his first half yellow card, was definitely a second yellow and I think everyone in the ground thought so as well.

"The referee made the call. Everyone in the ground probably felt he made the wrong one but he's only human."

Keast was delighted for Chris Garrard after the Australian stole the show at Sixways with two tries and an assist for Ben Daly's touchdown. The winger has been out of action for six weeks while he recovered from a groin injury.

"His first half display was exceptional," added Keast. "His second try was sensational. He's a very exciting player and, after his recovery, he's back to that standard."
