SORRY Reg Price, but we have moved on since the Conservatives were in power. Michael Howard seems straightforward to me and no government could be worse that the one we have at present.
It is a shame all the opposition parties cannot find a way to unite in order to get a better government.
As regards, the poll tax it did improve matters for pensioners. The present council tax is crippling. I think everyone over 18 who votes should pay tax provided they have jobs. Tax should vary according to salary.
