CHELSEA Pensioners will be celebrating Christmas by tucking into cheeses made in Worcestershire.
The Hereford Hop cheese, made by Malvern Cheesewrights, will be presented to the old soldiers at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, as part of a tradition that dates from 1692.
A total of 50 cheeses have been donated by 31 different producers.
The Dairy Council has been presenting cheeses to the war veterans since 1956.
