Are Network Rail only going to consider one of the Jamaica Road rail crossings but not the other?

Last Friday's article (Malvern Gazette, December 5) refers to the Jamaica Road to Hanbury Road crossing, but there are in fact two dangerous rail crossings in the Jamaica Road area of Malvern Link - one between Jamaica Road and the allotments at the end of Hanbury Road, and another between Jamaica Road and 'The Americans' playing field in Lower Howsell Road.

It is my understanding that Lily Tandy died at the Allotments crossing in 1988, Frank Shelton died at the Allotments crossing nine months later and Dave Boycott died at The Americans crossing in 2001.

If my understanding is wrong, then perhaps someone can put me right. I've checked the Malvern Gazette's web archives, but the reports seem to conflict on the precise locations of the three deaths (the articles are linked to in the news archive section of the new Malvern Rail Users website www.notgettingthere.org).

Whatever the facts, both crossings are very dangerous, although the Allotments crossing is probably the busier.
