MALVERN'S family planning clinic will not take people over 25 years old in the new year.
From January 6, the clinic, held at Malvern Health Centre from 6pm to 8pm every Tuesday, will become a Time 4U service for the under-25s.
In April 2004 it will move from the health centre to Malvern Connexions service for young people.
A nurse and a young people's worker will run the clinic, with telephone support from a senior doctor.
Sheena Stewart, service manager with the sexual health service, said over-25s could seek contraception advice from their GP or from other family planning clinics, such as the Moor Street clinic in Worcester.
The changes have arisen from a service review by South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust.
